We had a blast! Yes, it was a huge group, and there were SEVERAL melt-downs... but it was fun no less! Taylor took a car to play with as did other toddlers and they laid down in the conference room or sat at tables rolling them while the moms listened to some rather interesting facts on the fire station and trucks and such. We got to sit in the fire trucks and look at equipment and then after Taylor put on that yellow helmet in the pictures that belonged to one of the crewmen. Well, a lot of the moms thought what a great photo opportunity for my child needless to say, we were scolded to not put the hats on any of the children because a couple of years ago a 4 year old lost his balance and broke his neck because the hat is so heavy. The station got sued so... Oops! Taylor did get a hat of his own to wear but he didn't want to wear it. Mommy wore it and then used it to fan herself since it was SO hot! Thank you to the lady that organizes the events we got a group photo, which wasn't the easiest to get together, but in the end, she took 1 picture and said if it didn't turn out, oh well, luckily it did!
