Taylor's idea.

Taylor has always told me he wants to call the baby banana.  When we were pregnant with Reagan he wanted to call her bicycle.  Now, he has decided he wants to call the baby Buster.  I don't know where this came from but thought I would jot it down to remember.  I asked him if his name would be Buster Tibbs and he said, No, just Buster.  Interesting!

Build and Grow.

I can't say enough about this.  We loved it!  It was better than boy scouts because there is no commitment!  It was perfect for me because we were engaged the whole time we were there!  Taylor had tools just his size and it wasn't too difficult for even mommy to get done!  We got uniformed and once we were done we received patches and a certificate for a job well done!  Taylor liked that the car had stickers and that if you drag it backward that it goes really fast!  This was a great project!  The class was very full and parents and children came and went as they wanted oh and I forgot to mention that this was completely FREE!  Girls and boys and parents and grandparents came to this!  It was amazing!  In all, we had a great bonding experience!  We are looking forward to attending the next class.  It is a basketball something kit.  We will see.
Nailed together, now we need to put the spoiler on and attach the wheels.

It was a little hard for him to pound away but this is why some of the parents had their kids sit on the floor and pound at the ground.  Hence the parent on the floor behind us.

We are getting it!

This is so much fun!

Playing with the car, he let it go and it rolled into someone at the table.

We are about done.

Say cheese and now we get our certificate and patches.

Playing in the hall and having a ball.  There is another kid playing with him not pictured.

We had a ball!  Can't wait until next time!

Mommy time...

Happy Birthday Rachel, and quick and hurry up and have that baby!

Mine are the feet on the bottom.  I am sporting my new purple TEVA sandals that are so comfy and I decided to go with candy apple red polish.

Cracker Barrel for dessert.

I am so lucky to have found some really great babysitters.  Finally!  Appointments are a lot easier and I get some mommy time and when Casey comes home, I can have some great date nights!  Anyway, I went with some girlfriends to get a pedicure.  Very nice!  I soaked my feet, got a massage and chatted while I got a nice treatment on my feet!  It was heaven!  The whole idea behind getting pedicures was not just to get pedicures, but to celebrate a friends birthday and induce her labor.  She is basically due now with her 4th child.  Here are pictures of our night.  Much Fun!

I am glad we have a private drive...

He is incredibly private, but we were hiding and he had a cherry limeade.

Cooling off!  Being silly, just like her brother!

She loves this toy!  Taylor rides it like it is a scooter.  It is getting great use!

Fun at the park, oh, look everyone from the city is here too! HA!

Wow, so I have many posts in one day.  So I have a minute here and a minute there, some days I have nothing.  Sorry for the spurts!  HA!  Anyway, we will see how this post works itself out.  I am in the middle of American Idol 2-hour, Hollywood last cuts...  So that means I am up and down between short commercial breaks.  Taylor already has had a rough start with going to bed and well, I have been up with that too.  I have the monitor on down here to see what is going on and I heard him making Reagan laugh.  I thought nothing of it and thought the lights were off and they would eventually go to sleep.  BOY WAS I WRONG!  I finally went up to find Taylor had the lights on, his radio turned on and both kids up out of bed!!!  REALLY!?

Okay commercial again.  Skip to later after I remedied that, and told him he had to go to bed.  He called down to me to tell me he had to go potty and that he wanted dinner.  Again.  Well, we could stay up all night too, and have a party and go for a walk and play games and eat sugar and................  Now he should be in bed.
Rewind to before dinner, we made some great brownies.  What a great thing to snack on while I watch AI. Poor Taylor got to help me make these but didn't get any.  Okay, he tasted a crumb and said he loved it.  Anyway, he can have dessert on Friday night with the babysitter.  I am going to get a pedicure with some friends.  The girl we are taking out is about to have a baby and hopes that she might possibly go Friday.  All dolled up!  JK!  We won't turn down a great night out.

Next is the top 24 selection.  But really you could be watching it for yourselves.  What you are here for is updates on life here and the kids.  Back into Tibbsland, we are all healthy again.  Off antibiotics, but of course, we have to go to the Dr. in the morning to check Taylor's ear infection and tummy problems.  Lucky for me the same Dr. agreed to check both and I think we will have another x-ray done.  I wonder how long we will be at the clinic???  I will be going to the Dr. tomorrow for myself.  Sigh!  If I didn't have to go to the Dr. for something for a whole year, I would be THRILLED!  Anyway, Reagan is getting all four back molars at the same time so I think that contributed to her being ill and nasty for so long!  I was thinking that the antibiotic wasn't helping any, but now it is confirmed...  It didn't.  Ha!  She is a tough cookie though.  I will post again about Taylor's status.

So, now what you have all been waiting for... PICS
Showing off his new sunglasses.

New car seat...  Ready to get out and play...

Funny kid!

Always wants to stand up.  She was begging for food here.  I had yogurt on a spoon for her...

Always climbing!  BTW he is SO HOT!  He asked if he could take his shirt off.

This is a great way to cool off!

The sun may have been in her eyes, but this is almost a constant expression!  I will show you later.  She got so tired and hot that she was content to hang out here and watch big brother and all of the millions of kiddies that were on holiday from school.  Note to self... get the sandals out and always have the sunblock on hand!!!  EVEN THOUGH it is FEBRUARY!

God has obviously protected Casey!

These obviously are from Casey's recent trip to Christchurch, NZ.  He spent 2 weeks there and said it was beautiful.  As you can see in the first picture he is staying just down the block from the famous Christchurch Cathedral.  It has the seafoam green cylindrical top.

Here Case stands out front of the massive building.  It is very beautiful!

This is the top of the Cathedral's tower in which you can climb up to, which Casey did.  To those who haven't heard of the 6.3 earthquake it is all over the news.  I only found out since the relatives reported it to me.  I was praying that God would ultimately protect Casey where he is now, but this is a reminder to me that God is already protecting and continues to protect my husband!  He is a Great God and a GREAT BIG God!  He hears my prayers and yours as well! I offer my prayers to the families there who have been greatly impacted negatively as a result of this tragedy.  So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.  Isaiah 41:10
I know without a shadow of a doubt, He is my comforter!  He is my rock!  He has taken this family through many events!  And continues to.  I am thankful to lean on Him through my own fears and sorrows.  I am most thankful that with as many hard times as we have we also have had tremendous blessing!  One being the most recent in Casey being protected!  Anyway, I just wanted to share!  I love you babe and I hope that you read this and know that the Lord is carrying you!  He has purposed you to come home to us soon!  We love you!

This is a picture following the devastating 6.3 earthquake that just hit Christchurch, NZ.  This is the same tower that Casey climbed to the top of.

Making cookies.

This is always fun!  Making cookies, I mean.  Taylor wants to do everything himself, so I have to watch him carefully!  He has a mustache from a jamba juice we had early.  He is my cute monkey.

Oops, I turned my head for a second.  All of the sugar spilled all over the floor and the plastic tub containing it shattered.  So, before we finished with the cookies, we had to clean up the kitchen and throw out the trash and well, accidents happen even with mommy so it was no big deal just a minor set back.  We did have fun though and we are going to make pumpkin muffins or brownies next.  Yum!

Cleaning up in the yard.

Thankfully, I didn't have such a hot morning today and we gathered up the leaves and put them in the compost bin.  Taylor helped add leaves to the pile one by one.  Really?!  Yes!  He must have seen a character in a cartoon do this.  I don't know.  He had fun though!

Friday's fun morning...

Hot fun in the summertime er the February hot spells... The weather is definitely a mystery around here!  Although talking with relatives in Midland who reached record lows and record highs in the same week, maybe it won't be so mysterious after mother nature has been hinting to a very hot period around the bend!  (I am not really looking forward to that!)  Anyway, we started the morning off nice but you never know when the kids or mamma will get a chill so we had sweatshirts just in case.
Reagan is wearing T's sunglasses because they no longer fit his noggin.  He was just in them last season!  Okay, she isn't wearing them.  She is just posing!  Oh and let me point out the usage of the double BOB...  LOVE IT!  It is being worked in because Taylor is continuously climbing in and out of it over the bar/tray dragging all sorts of sand ect. in.

After the nutritious snack he got a surprise.  He was so excited!  He loved that he could use it like a pacifier.  Hmm.  He decided that he would walk outside of the stroller until he was tired.  Thus making the morning about exercise too.

Already stripping her clothes off!

He almost went through because he was having so much fun exploring...  He wouldn't have fallen, rest assure, but he could see the animals and birds better in the water.  He thinks there are terrible alligators in there.  Maybe.

I don't know what I was dressed for?  Sweats were too hot and well, I don't have many pants that fit, hence the jeans and scrappy tee.  Reagan and I got snapped here by Taylor.

After the walk we went to throw rocks off the bridge and sit on the pier where Taylor felt the cold water.  Then we went to the park.  Reagan loves the swings!  Sadly I put my camera away after this, but Taylor made friends with a little girl and the family turned out to be friends with another girl I know here.  She arrived shortly afterwards and we had a fun time!  The kids played hide and go seek and did balance beam all around the park.  It was a blast, but Taylor cooked out there and sadly I forgot to pack sun screen.  He looked like a lobster and he was wearing sweats.  Oops.  Reagan and I were hot too and we all headed out, but we had so much fun!

One of several videos we took this afternoon~

I am sure I could post any number of videos and you would laugh at how silly these kids are!  I am glad that we were able to get out of the house none the less.  Reagan and I are still pretty sick, but it was nice to be in the fresh air.  She loves to get out and move around if you can't tell.  He loves to play with her and can't wait for her to play tag.  Too fun!

Look at my specs!

Taylor really wanted to have his picture taken with these so that his daddy could see his art project from school.  I think he just likes to have his picture taken and see it full screen on the computer.  He is such a ham.  He wanted to wear these while eating dinner tonight.  Okay.

Bye, bye daddy...

Today we say safe travels, we love you and we can't wait for your return to our daddy.  We hope to keep daddy and all family and friends updated over the next couple of months, with new baby appointments and the well being of mommy, Taylor and Reagan.  Daddy will be gone on deployment for a while and will return right before mommy's due date.  Just like with Reagan.  Things shouldn't be so crazy this time around because this pregnancy is not as high risk as Reagan's.  Taylor is such a big help and I have found some really wonderful babysitters.  Anyway, this is us, the Tibbs family:  9 months, 3 1/2 years, mommy 4 months pregnant and daddy before his intense work outs (he intends to train for London while on deployment).  I can't wait to show you the family when he comes back home for a happy reunion.

This is Reagan talking, if you can believe it...

We don't really know how to translate this, but she does it ALL of the time!  Sometimes she will go on and on, and on and we try to mimic her.  I suppose we will see what it progresses into later in life.  Another thing she has been doing of late:  biting!  She bit Talor's cheek, (it was bad), she bites my shoulder... it doesn't matter to her.  I suppose she just hurts... Oh, she is screaming at me right now.  I have got to go.  She needs me.

Here are the kiddies

Now, I can tell you that this is a crazy picture because 1) it is not cold; 2)he is wearing this at 4:00pm; 3)he is wearing socks, pants and a shirt underneath.

Big girl at the big table.  She is teething and hence the Messy biscuit.

Now these two do everything together.  It is wonderful!  For everyone really!  Routine is a little simpler! They love each other!

My loving husband... Spoils me rotten!

These are my new, WARM slippers.  The kids love to pet them!  They are actually made from possum.  Interesting!  Yet cozy!

Casey took 3rd place as I said in the previous post.

I wanted you to all read the inscription.  I love it!

This is obsidian.  Or flint.  I dig it!  Taylor likes it too.

This is jade.  I am still unsure of the origin.  Now I have jade from China and New Zealand.

This is also obsidian and goes with my ring.  Very nice pieces!  Casey did a great job with the jewelry!
Thanks babe!  I love you!

Casey, back from New Zealand

It looks like somewhere in the US, but really it is right outside his New Zealand hotel.

This is also just steps from his hotel.  I am so jealous!  It is grand!  The weather looks absolutely fabulous for a stroll.

You can take a relaxing ride.  Wouldn't it be lovely!

Looks very inviting!

A lot of you know Skiba.  Some people think that these guys are brothers.  They really do act like it too! Skiba even calls Casey Bert from Bert and Ernie.  I don't know what Skiba's nickname is.

A beautiful view from the top of a mountain.

"I'm to sexy!"  In his USA olympic gear.

I had to give a picture that is so typical of Case.  Here is psycho!

Long Jump competitors.

So intense!

He placed 3rd in the heat.  Oh, and 2nd place has 2 legs.

They gave him grass.  I didn't understand this, but I asked what he did with it.  He said he gave it away.  Strange offering!

A view of the countryside from the train.

More lush valley.

This is a fun shot!

Looks beautiful!

Sorry he didn't come home with any pictures of beach.  I thought he might, but no.  He did have a good time although he would have rather cut the travel time to and from out!  We are so glad to have him home momentarily!  I will take pictures of the medal and update with more later.
