Taylor!

He is totally into super heros!  He also wants to help the world!  He is so cute!

Mr. social butterfly, would like to have a phone of his own already.  Oh my!  He carries my phone around and answers it if he gets the chance.

Crazy, silly boy!

Updates with Taylor:  he is having lots of tummy problems and headaches.  Sometimes we have to hold him out of school because we don't know what is going on with him.  I am journaling his issues, giving him coffee in the morning sometimes, he sleeps sometimes with a heated blanket, we do audio books on the ipad with the lights off instead of reading out loud books with the light on because he doesn't feel good.  Anyway, the Dr. thought he might have migraines and mentioned something about abdominal migraines.  I have never heard of this, but we are supposed to be meeting with a neurologist soon.  Sometimes Taylor gets pale and vomits and sometimes he doesn't.  We have been up some nights back and forth because the headaches or a tummy ache will go well into the night and morning.  We are trying to go back to dairy to add some calcium and proteins back to his diet.  We are stumped with him and it is so sad.  Anyway, we will continue to update with him too.

Reagan update... I forgot to mention...

I have just found out that Reagan qualifies for the Department of Public Health services in Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy.  We have been assigned a case manager and should receive a date to meet in regards to goals and progress that each therapist should try to meet with Reagan.

This is the program that the government provides up till the age of three years old.  After that, Reagan may be assessed again.  There is a chance that we will be placed with a music therapy program.  That would be great!  Reagan loves to sing and they have always suggested that music and singing help her vocal cords.  We hope to, besides the aimed therapies, have another swallow study done to see if we might take her off the thickened liquids.  I hope for positive results from the test.  Within the next days or weeks, I will have more updates with this.

Reagan!

This is Reagan in a good mood!  This is her smile with a crinkle in her nose.  Something she has done from just a baby.

Wearing her pajama's backward now because she thinks it is so exciting to strip and take her diaper off.  This leads to too many laundry days and not enough time or energy for me to keep up!

Dancing and showing off.  She is loving her new big girl bed.  She would have all of her dolls and things in the bed except I hate to wash them over and over too.

Another pair of pj's backward and a raspberry pacifier that she can't suck... she just bites it for the sake of those last teeth coming in.

Talking to daddy... she loves to listen and then if you tell her to say hi or bye, she waves...

Just wanted to show you her super curly hair.

These cute pj's I had to cut the feet out of.

The Hillbilly Sister...

We sure have been busy around here!  Here is proof...  I have been to the dentist twice and had a tooth removed and then an implant put in.  I would have had more teeth removed but I decided that I was too vain and poor to go with more teeth out.  Besides, how was I going to eat with so many holes in my mouth.  Before you think how disgusting... I have baby teeth (5 total) in my mouth that have little to no roots left and they are causing me problemas!!!  I am completely and utterly a work in progress.  Thankfully, I had meds and my hubby around and Gran and Bop to help out with everything!  Thank you!!!  I also had my hair cut and have decided I am not going to go back to blonde.  I am content to be natural.  I still have some color on the bottom, but I will let it all grow out.  There is more to share about our family and what we have been busy with to come.  I just have to stop now and go grocery shopping.  We are having a playdate here at the house this afternoon and I have got to get with it with being organized and get off the computer. Again, keep looking for more posts.  I have many more to come!

Gran & Bop in for a visit.

I couldn't decide which picture I liked better.  Anyway, this is the best way for us to capture memories!  I set up the camera and run in.  Everyone says cheese for what seems like a whole minute and no one knows if it will turn out or not, but it sure is funny!  Taylor, is Mr. Cheese himself!  Trent always is looking to see what is going on.  Reagan can't decide if this is something fun or not, and Casey can't decide if he can hold his smile for any longer!  The rest of us can't wait to see how cute this has turned out.  I think it is wonderful!  Don't you!

6 months old...

Big Blue Eyes!

Sometimes he might smile...  Here he is probably just ate, but grinning none-the-less.  Seen here with 2 bottom teeth.

Back to his somber face... It is kinda a smile.  Sure beats the colic times!

I think I was playing peek-a-boo with him.  He definitely has Reagan's smile and the same blue eyes, but he is blond as can be with a HIGH hair line.  He weighs in at 18 pounds and measures 26 in.  He wants to sit but still needs assistance.  He always wants to sit up so we have him sitting at the table now with us in a chair of his own, between his brother and sister.  They all quite enjoy this arrangement!  He also is now in a big boy car-seat and still tries to lean forward, craning his neck to see his brother and sister.  He tries to talk to them in the car.  He is getting bigger everyday and we are enjoying him every minute!

Because it has been TOO long!

Hi everyone!  Here we are to say hello since it has been TOO long!  Taylor, our budding photographer snapped this one.  We wanted to show our happy faces to you considering we have been swamped and sometimes it feels like we are treading water.  We want to share with you our good times considering that we are blessed and the Lord gets us through!  Be on the look out for more posts, since I have to catch up.

Because they have the most fun being crazy!

The kiddos.

Sunday Morning.

He thinks he is going to have a lot of donuts.  But, I am sorry dear, the serving size says only 3 so that is all you get.  Luckily for me, he goes with this.

Hi!

WUZ UP?!

So tired.

"Reagan, can I have your donuts?"

"Yeah right, bro!  I am going to shove these in my mouth and treasure the yummy goodness."

Sleepy-head.

Donuts gobbled up, eggs coming and fruit.  And we had to change Reagan because she had chocolate all over her pants and feet.  Happy Sunday... Rather, happy Monday, since we are behind.  Oops, Reagan's bow is slipping.

Cute kids!

Here she is with more babies... one giggles and the other has a pacifier.  She sleeps with them and puts them in the swing, and has a stroller for them and well, they are her first real girl obsession.  Up until now, she has just played with trains and phones and kitchen things.  Now we have something specifically for her.  Now, she brings them to bed too.  I need to take a picture of her current bed place.  It is full of her dollies!

Here, are the boys.  If you can't tell, the little guy, isn't really little he is getting bigger and heftier everyday!  We have finally started him on food.  He is 6 months and starving!  We tried once or twice with food when he was younger, thinking it might help with his colic but it didn't so we stopped and now we have started up he is ready and willing to scarf it all down!  I haven't tried much, but intend to get him some biscuits to chew on and then the baby food making will begin.  I can't wait!  Anyway, I am a pro at that area... making baby food I mean.

To update you all, all the kids are feeling better and we are no longer sick with Roseola Virus.  Reagan got it first and then we ended several weeks later with Taylor covered from head to toe and then he had headaches and soreness and high fevers.  Trent didn't get it, thank goodness.  Reagan has been to a speech pathologist to be evaluated for speaking delays.  They think she is about 6 months behind and have suggested we continue with speech therapy.  Today, I sat with a coordinator to get ushered into a government program which assists children to get all the aid they need in speech, physical and developmental areas.  We will begin to see therapists in the home and set goals for Reagan to achieve as much assistance in communication as necessary before she is 3 years old.  I have yet to get you all on board with signing, but if they believe it is the only way she will be able to communicate for a while, then I hope to share with you all what we are learning.  We are going to be evaluated in all areas to access Reagan's learning needs and developmental progresses.  She may or may not be behind because of her swallow disfunction.  We will continue to investigate that issue but don't want to test her too often with Radiation in the swallow study.  Also, we may have her jaw looked at.  That is where we are at with all the children.  I will be posting some of our Christmas pics later.  I didn't get many, but I will post some of the cuter ones.  Keep your eye out!
