Well, most of you know that we have been having Taylor go potty on the big boy potty for a while now. Now it is pretty regular around here! Even when we go out. We even peed in the bushes at Home Depot, which, well, when you are learning, you can't hold it for very long. I haven't done the pull ups since his bottom is so big when he is trying to pull anything up or down his bottom gets in the way. We just undo the diaper half way and it works. I don't know why I purchased those potty seats since I just put him on our toilets backwards. I started giving him potty candies and would you know he is just fine with praise and hasn't missed the candy for anything! Lucky for us! He loves to go pee pee like a big boy and loves his new big boy underwear! I don't know when we will go for a whole night without pee but I am not worried about that! It is so wonderful that we are going through less diapers! Undies are so much cooler! In both senses of the word that is! He is growing up! We are proud! Go Taylor!

We had a GOOD day today!
Taylor was the chauffeur to his mommy today! He loves to drive!
Maybe Taylor will be a pilot... He kept yelling "Mommy! Mommy!" I went to look and thought it was so funny I thought you all might laugh too.

This was a fun see-saw. Yeah!
Out of everything at the playground... Taylor climbed on and off of the car the whole time! He didn't want to swing or play much on the playscape.
"Do you like my ride?" Taylor couldn't get enough of this! He would have drove it home if he could!

Just wanted to share...
This is what we see right out of our front window! I have even seen her feeding the babies a worm. It was such a sight! I think only one baby chowed it down so the other's must be starving... jk!

Daddy and Taylor bonding before he is off "on a mission," (that is what we tell Taylor when Daddy is gone.)

This is a beautiful blossom from the many, many Gardenia bushes growing in the front and back yard. The fragrance from these are so sweet! I love it! It reminds me of some Gardenias my grandmother used to have in her backyard! We also have tons of green geckos and Robins. The other day a small rabbit scurried out of our garage. We also have horses right up the road. Every time we drive by Taylor says "Neigh, neigh." There also have been reports of a couple Black Bear sightings in our area. Not in our neighborhood specifically, but nearby in the wooded areas. Just some different things that we are getting used to.
Updates from GA.
Both of these pictures give you a pretty clear picture of how our day went! The truck came later than I thought! They came and couldn't figure how to position the truck, my goodness. We waited for them to turn it around in the cul-de-sac and they ran into the mailbox. Hmmm. Oops! Then they made a huge mess of things and while I was supposed to be inside writing down the box numbers Taylor was wanting to get down from my back. I was everywhere and nowhere all at once... Each person was calling me to and fro and I had to hurry back to make sure I logged the numbers to ensure I received all of our belongings. I finally did put Taylor down and he found things to get into right away. It was manageable for a bit, then Taylor climbed on the couch and fell right off and started screaming! I came as fast as I could but the guys with dollies had to wait while I calmed my child so that I could log the boxes. That was pretty much how it went. Stop and go and wait. Once I fed Taylor a snack things should have got better, but he was so tired and then he wanted to go out in front to see all of the things come down from the truck. All of the doors to the house were wide open so it was pretty much, "No, Taylor, stay here, Taylor" and well you can imagine. He wasn't happy at all! Then he saw his car-car and his tricycle. He stood at the back door (since I kept trying to close all the doors to conserve energy, keep the flies out, and keep my child in) and screamed and cried some more. I felt horrible! He didn't get a nap and the guys left close to 5PM. It was a long day and we were exhausted! The guys did a real bang-up job and I have got to make claims on a lot of items! They ran into walls, dropped things upstairs that made the house shake and well, you get the picture. At least I have my stuff! Sigh! I got through it and even had wine and read a book at the end of the day, so, all is good! I can't wait to show you all my new home!!! We just love it!

Our stuff is due to arrive today...
Well, even though my cell phone just doesn't work (it is the biggest headache!), I was able to use the alarm feature and get up at 6AM to be ready for the moving company to bring my stuff. Well, it is now 8:30AM and they are still not here. They will be coming soon, I made sure and called to see if they were coming. Anyway, we (Taylor and I) are more than ready to eat normal food, instead of the microwave dinner trays and such that we have been eating besides peanut butter sandwiches. Sigh. I keep telling Taylor that today he will be getting all of his toys and his own bed back. Mommy will be happy too once she gets her bed too! Oh and not to mention all of the kitchen stuff and books and well you get it! We also need Taylor's potty chair... He keeps telling me everyday that he has to go potty so now I have started putting cheerios in the toilet. He thinks it is really cool. Let's see if he actually wants to keep this up or if it is just another phase. He still hasn't really pee'd on the pot yet, but thinks he should wipe every time he toots. Sorry if this is too much info. Anyway, back to getting our stuff. It will be nice to get it so we can curl up in a couch to read books in Taylor's playroom. I promise to take pictures soon. I am excited to show you. Anyway, I will let you all know how the day goes. I don't expect Taylor getting a nap in so I think it will be a little nuts. Thank goodness I have the ERGO and if I need to wear Taylor on my back, then I will wear him. Have a Happy Tuesday!

We love you all!
Fun in OKC!!! We had a blast and Taylor was beginning to think we were staying! He was quite used to all of the family and time spent doing all of the fun things we did! He loved the pool, the pond, Aunt Julie's new car, posting the colors with Bop, lap time with Gran, bath time in Gran's sink, Gran's delicious cooking, the man cave, John Wayne, playing marble maze with the cutest cousin ever (Bonnie), and kissing EVERYONE!!! We miss you all!
The Park at the Library
We have found a great park, which on a hot day gets a bit congested! This is a park right next to the library, down the way from us. The library itself is fantastic with a cafe/bistro inside with a theater as well. Taylor is doing the reading program so I will enter 30 books that I have read to him by July something and he will receive a free book. He loves to be read to. Anyway, there is a track that surrounds a lake and 2 playgrounds with this fun water area. Taylor was a little distracted and didn't want to play on the playground since he was hot and most of the kids seemed like they were having way more fun running in the water so Taylor wanted to join in. At first he was very hesitant because the water was really a bit chilly. Then he got used to it and didn't want to leave. We are living out of our suitcase, so unfortunately I didn't have a bathing suit for him. Oh well, it wasn't much of a big deal but some of the older kids kept asking him the reason for his being dressed in his clothes. I laughed at the formality of the kids asking... Who cares... Anyway, everyone knows that they get stripped down at the car anyway so that is what we did. We had a blast! Thought you all might like to see where we have been spending our time. We are lucky to have such a fun park so close! Perfect!
