American Idol, let down!

I am so upset this year with the show! I doubt that I am the only one, but I feel that the talent isn't there like recent years! Anyway, I can't stand Amanda Overmyer! She is the Rocker Nurse, with black and white hair and she doesn't know how to dress... and she can't sing... It is so unpleasant to listen to her sing through her throat! Anyway, I accidently navigated to her myspace page... It was completely by accident... well, disgusting... okay well back to the show... SHE should have been voted off this episode!!! I was so angry! Maybe I should just quit watching the show! Sigh

Just plain Gross!!!

Okay, so I was reading through my Moms and Tots forum messages and got totally sickened! I suppose I never gave the issue much thought and wonder if as mothers we just get so sentimental and feel like everything must get cherished and then handed down... barf... Okay, sorry, the message that I am talking about was "What do you do with the baby teeth?" Okay, so the posts related to this made me just grimace while I sat and scrolled through comment after comment... So some people said that they kept the teeth and years and years passed and the teeth rotted and well... what is the point? Are we doing DNA testing later to find out if we are really related??? I mean come on!!! I just want to know if I keep my kids teeth, what is he going to say when I hand him a box or jewelry case full of what is it 12 teeth or more... Gee thanks mom, I have been waiting my whole life just for these!!?? Uh, yeah, right! Other people commented that they had family members who saved the teeth and mounted them in rings on the fingers... I can just imagine myself gazing at such a beautiful dull ring... and thinking what a cool fad!!! NOT!!! I mean do you do that for each kid and then wear each ring on a different finger? How do you tell which ring is for which kid? I mean they aren't colored like birthstones are they??? Whatever... I just think there is more value in my kid than his teeth! Again, this is my opinion... I ought to ask my mom what she did with mine? Pulling the teeth out was fun, I remember those times, but keeping it, WHATEVER!

I guess this is catching!!!

It seems that we all know someone that is just like this!!! I recently was sick, immediately following a sick child and soon after my getting the sickness... duh Duh DUH... My Husband GOT IT! I would have you know that the first thing he asked for was Chicken noodle soup... oh and make sure it is Cambells.... oh barf... should I have told him to call his mother or get up and make me something... I am sick too... then a friend shared with me this video clip... Thought I would share it with you...

My friend

I love my friend! I am learning to laugh at my friend... He is pretty goofy! He doesn't come around often and so when I see him I go nuts!

Before we all got sick...

This is Taylor just hangin out. Right before we went for a day out, we put on Taylor's sun hat and just snapped a couple of cute pics. I suppose Taylor will learn real quick to smile at a moments notice!

Just hangin out after work-out

Immediately following workout, we sit and gab all sweaty and tired while the kids get to know eachother and eat grass and sorts. If you can't tell by the photo, Taylor is still in his pj's and well, sometimes it is a bit crazy heading out the door with my bottles of gatorade, water, snacks, maybe a sweater, clothes for Taylor, diapers... what else, sigh, I go nuts just thinking about it... anyway, most of the time Taylor naps right before class so I just grab him out of the crib and go. He doesn't mind yet what he is wearing when he goes out of the house. Later down the road we will have to worry about his look. Right now we are worried about mommies fitness level and therefore we make compromises.

This is the way he goes to sleep...

This is the way Taylor sets the mood, for sleepy-time... He does this even for nap time. He normally does this for several minutes and then without even realizing it, he will slip into a dream like state... I love to tip-toe and push the door open wide enough to see him talking to his animals or whatever. I can't get enough! Anyway, I hope you enjoy these little moments as much as we do.
