Today we finally saw a new doctor at the Childrens Hospital and we loved her! We had a great visit and left satisfied that we had found the right one for us! We asked about Taylor's diet, his stool (disgusting), the curvature of his legs and feet and his birthmark on his face. This is the report: Taylor is 7 months 3 weeks and is 29+ inches and 23 lbs. 2 oz. He is in the 100% for height and weight which is no surprise to anyone really since he has always been rather large. The curvature in his feet is not club foot so when he starts walking we have the option to put his shoes on the wrong feet to help push the joints. The curvature of his legs is just natural bowing that will diminish once he starts walking... A lot of children are bow-legged. Well jeez, if only the other doctors told us in laymans terms that it was just bow-legged and normal, that once he started walking it would go away, I wouldn't be so intensly driven on getting him into those leg braces! Anyway, we talked about Taylor's diet and I just need to give him a little more variety and cut out for a while all those bananas I keep giving him. We did get referred to see a pediatric dermatologist to examine his red mark on his face head and neck. This is good so that we can put to rest what some doctors think it could be... sigh... Now we should get a definate diagnosis on it and see if it is recommended for laser treatments. We shall see though, I will keep everyone updated!
