Updates...

Today is our last day in May and we are in our new home.  Things have been quite hectic around here to say the least.  Casey leaves in a couple of hours and we will be sad to have him gone.  We are living out of a suitcase, with an air mattress that we set up first in the kitchen.  It is quite a site.  The kitchen is in the back with the most beautiful view of the backyard!  (My goodness it is so green and it is almost like we are camping!)  Anyway, more news:  my cell phone doesn't work at the house.  What a strange thing though, because Casey's does.  We are a little confused at that but haven't had time to fix that.  There is so much going on.  Casey is busy with everything and people have been coming to our house trying to get us wired in and things.  So we are now up and running, finally with Internet.  It is horrible being without it!  Side comment-  I am listening to a train go by in the distance.  I love it!  I know it is hot here, but I really, really enjoy sitting outside in the backyard listening to the nature and looking at all the greenery!  We have beautiful, tall pines and other trees I haven't identified yet and tons of birds!  There is a birds nest right outside our front window of Robins.  We are nervous to go over too often, because we don't want to spook them.  In the back though we have 3 steps going down and I like to sit on them or take out one of our 2 folding chairs to read.  It stays light out until almost 9:30 so it is great to sit out for a while to just relax without TV.  There is a library right up the road from us that I can't wait to visit and a school and well, there hasn't been much time to explore, but I am sure there is a lot more real close.  Our neighbor has a garden of bell peppers, 2 variety of tomatoes, eggplant, pumpkins, zucchini, and yellow squash, I can't wait to start my own garden!  Maybe I will try blue berries.  We will see.  We haven't had much time to do anything back there yet, but that is the beauty of owning... all of our free time will be spent making it just right for us!  So there will be a time for that.
Back to the hectic part of the move.  We had our car shipped out and have had the most drama with trying to get it here, sigh!  Casey made me laugh this morning when he commented that it felt like a drug deal... "bring the money... I'll meet you there... I don't know where that is... maybe a parking lot nearby... you need to unload... I have your shipment...  blah, blah, blah..."  Just listening to the guy he sounds like a drug dealer.  At least in the midst of a headache, we are able to laugh at something!  It is a good thing that I will finally have the car before Casey leaves.  Otherwise we would be totally stranded!  Maybe today we will start exploring.  We shall see.  We are sorry that we haven't made any phone calls.  We have been up to our ears!    Poor Taylor is really out of sorts and misses his friends, TERRIBLY; hasn't had much to do but sit in his car seat while we drive around for various errands; and sit still and he is beside himself!  He has been stressed out too!
We did want to say hello to all of you and once I get my phone in working order, I will call.  Casey and I don't often share messages so it hard to keep track, also, if you call, we don't see missed calls.  I think that the wooded areas that are so dense around here also play a part in that.  Our satellite radio often goes in and out while we drive.
Back to the hectic part again.  We won't receive any of our things until the 9th of June.  With all that has happened thus far though, I wouldn't be surprised if that was delayed too!  Casey will be gone when it arrives so we have been trying to figure out where all things will go so that it goes a little more smoothly.  It will be quite interesting to see how the next couple of months go!  I am sure you will want to stay tuned for more drama!  I am sorry that there will be no pictures though since I don't have all of my plugs and things for the camera and scanner and such.  You will have to get those later.
Kisses and hugs to our family and friends.  We miss you!!!
