We had great plans to spend the afternoon out in the front and ride bikes and such, but Casey ran in and locked all the doors to the outside for fear that one of the kids would unknowingly go out and get attacked by a swarm of bees.
Thankfully, professionals were available, even though we had to wait, and Casey didn't have to try to aim and fire with water to see if we might get rid of the problem!
They hatched up a plan to catch the queen and lure the bees away and then well, the rest was confusing, but we hung out and watched the whole thing as passers by couldn't get enough! There were people on bikes, a lady and her baby walking and a man with his dogs and we tried to wave and signal to get out of the way...
If you zoom in on this picture, you can see that they really made that swarm mad! They were buzzing around everywhere and we are shocked that we didn't see the swarm the day before. The bee guys were shocked that the swarm and hive were so near to the ground.
The whole thing could have been a lot more scary, but thankfully, we are rid of our bees and can safely go outside to play.
