Our trip to Florida...

At last, I am posting on our adventures down south to Jacksonville first, and then a side trip (not planned) to St. Augustine, Fl. We had quite a fun time as always in the hotel with a new room to explore and lots of creative ways to pass the time. We brought some games and played in the bath for HOURS!!! So much more exciting than the pool, which in Florida (I don't know why it was outdoors... but...) was dreadfully hot! The bath was much more exciting and easier to maneuver with the 2 kids. We looked throughout the room for containers and such to hold water. You would be surprised!!! We should have taken bubble-bath too... (note to self... buy bubble bath for trips!) Anyway, daddy went onto base for some physicals and such and left at 5AM. We got up and went to the lobby and had breakfast and that in itself was "SO MUCH FUN!" Taylor loves to be surrounded by people and already people watches! It is so funny! By the time daddy got back, we went to a FABULOUS restaurant and well, time for naps and everyone did! Loved it! Then we took a trip to the coast upon recommendation to St. Augustine. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED it!!! We can't wait to plan another trip there! So much to do and see! Beautiful beaches, the fountain of youth, shops galore, history, museums, a castle, need I say more! Well, we told Taylor we were going to the Alligator farms so this is what we did and it was fun to say the least! We wanted to hold Taylor up to see the gators but he got too scared so... through the viewing windows only... Enjoy the pictures!

There were two albino alligators in the shade... they can get sunburn if out in the sun, who knew?!

There were so many huge alligators, they were everywhere. They were very scary! They just lay there and then fight every once in a while...

This was a stinky but interesting trail! There were alligators wading everywhere!!! They were amongst trees and bush and would pop out of nowhere! Birds were everywhere too!

Reagan, as you can see is not happy here! She is tired and if I can remember correctly, she and I were VERY HOT! She was fine and sleeping minutes after this picture. Taylor didn't really want to stop for a picture, he was running everywhere! He loved exploring in the "jungle" as he called it!
